Since 2002, CLOK has helped organisations explain technologies, products and ideas that are difficult to understand, difficult to train on and often difficult to sell.

What started as a small creative business has evolved into a specialist partner for life science, healthcare and technology organisations across the UK, Europe and North America.

Over the years, we’ve worked with global brands, Fortune 500 organisations, innovative biotech companies and ambitious scale-ups, helping them communicate complex products through strategy, design, digital platforms and interactive experiences.

Along the way, we’ve delivered national campaigns, award-winning virtual training environments, global product launches, sales enablement platforms and immersive digital experiences used by customers and teams around the world.

2002 | Founded

Spinning Clock Ltd is incorporated by David Lister and Don Turner.

2004 | Public Sector Growth

The Department of Health appoints us as a design and digital partner, beginning a period of growth across public sector communications.

2010 | National Campaigns

We support the Change4Life programme, working alongside agencies including M&C Saatchi, Ogilvy and Serco on one of the UK’s most recognised public health initiatives.

2014 | Interactive Innovation

We receive an award in San Francisco for creating the first virtual reality experience for Thermo Fisher Scientific, helping establish a long-term relationship that continues today.

2015 | Global Brands

The Walt Disney Company becomes a client, leading to the delivery of events, interactive experiences and digital tools across multiple markets.

2020 | Virtual Training

Our first virtual laboratories launch, allowing scientists to explore and learn complex workflows through immersive digital environments.

2022 | Life Science Expansion

Thermo Fisher Scientific formalises our relationship through a global Master Services Agreement. The Binding Site and Chronus Health join our growing life science client portfolio.

2023 | The CLOK Era

We become an official Showpad Solutions Partner, launch CLOK360 and begin the transition from Spinning Clock to CLOK.

2024 | Continued Growth

Cellares, Upperton Pharma Solutions, Sygnature Discovery and Equinix expand our client portfolio as we continue to strengthen our position within the life science sector.
